I don't know if the lyrics are still subject to change but I wrote down what I got from the acoustic version from Myspace - correct me if you hear something else. I can tell you that the rock version is really different (well, that's the nature of acoustic versions, right, to be different?) and I like both, they have different feelings to them. I think that the acoustic version goes well with the lyrics actually. Sad song.

I thought it was "I am the one who's on the mend" but perhaps it's more likely to be ain't : )

Somehow reminds me vaguely of Stranger Things Have Happened, which I love. Anyway, I think 'Writings' has grown on me, I'm a bit curious about the normal (not acoustic) version

I also wasn't sure about that line, I just thought the "ain't" would fit better but I also don't quite understand that line.

Oh yeah, I saw you 'love' that one on last.fm the other day, haha. Also one of my favourite FF tracks.
